• Client / Traveller / You: The person(s) making the booking and/or participating in the travel experience.

• Services: Bespoke travel arrangements, private tours, accommodations, air charters, cruises, and other related travel services provided or arranged by UYAI AKRA.

• Supplier: Third-party providers such as hotels, airlines, safari lodges, or tour operators with whom we collaborate to deliver our experiences.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

• A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation from UYAI AKRA.

• Deposit and final balance details will be specified during the booking process.

• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your trip with applicable cancellation charges.

• Prices are subject to change until confirmation due to variations in exchange rates, supplier adjustments, or seasonal surcharges.

3. PRICES AND CHARGES

• All prices are quoted in USD (United States Dollars) unless otherwise stated and include taxes where applicable.

• Price revisions may occur due to changes in airline fares, hotel rates, or government taxes.

• Any adjustment will be communicated before your final payment is processed.

4. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

• By the Client:

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to UYAI AKRA.

  • Cancellation charges will apply as outlined at the time of booking.

  • Non-refundable components include airfares, private charter services, visa fees, and luxury resort deposits (e.g., Maldives, Alps lodges).

• By the Company:

  • UYAI AKRA reserves the right to cancel any travel program due to operational issues, safety concerns, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or alternative arrangements of equal value.

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, excluding non-recoverable costs.

5. CHANGES AND ALTERATIONS

• Modification requests must be made in writing and are subject to availability.

• Additional fees may apply for changes to dates, itineraries, or upgraded accommodations.

• UYAI AKRA reserves the right to adjust itineraries slightly due to local conditions, weather, or supplier availability while ensuring comparable standards of luxury and comfort.

6. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all required travel documents (passports, visas, vaccination records, insurance policies) are valid for the duration of travel.

• UYAI AKRA shall not be liable for losses or denied boarding resulting from incomplete or invalid documentation.

• Compliance with immigration and customs laws of destination countries (e.g., USA for Alaska, Switzerland for the Alps, or the Maldives) is solely the traveler’s responsibility.

7. INSURANCE

• Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, personal liability, and lost luggage is mandatory for all travelers.

• The Company will not bear responsibility for any loss, damage, or medical expenses incurred during travel.

8. LIABILITY

• UYAI AKRA acts solely as an agent for independent suppliers, luxury resorts, and transport providers.

• We are not liable for any injury, delay, loss, accident, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control, including acts of nature or third-party negligence.

• Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service in dispute.

9. HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Travelers must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that could affect participation in tours, safaris, or adventure excursions.

• UYAI AKRA reserves the right to refuse participation if a client’s condition may compromise safety or comfort for themselves or others.

• Clients are expected to follow the guidance of guides and local partners at all times.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

UYAI AKRA shall not be held liable for any delay, change, or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, civil unrest, pandemics, government restrictions, or extreme weather conditions (e.g., snowstorms in the Alps, monsoons in the Maldives).

11. COMPLAINTS

• Any concerns must be raised immediately with the tour leader or UYAI AKRA representative at the destination.

• Unresolved issues must be submitted in writing to support@uyaiakra.com within 14 days of your return.

• We will strive to resolve complaints fairly, promptly, and in accordance with international travel standards.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France (where UYAI AKRA is registered).
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
